PRE-DEPARTURE
Arrival Checklist
All important notices and announcements, including course information, will be posted on the Sogang International Summer Program website, and students will not be individually notified.
All students should frequently check the website and will be responsible for any inconvenience that occurs from not checking the website.
Some notices and announcements may also be sent to the email address on the application submitted to the program.
As all communication will be done through email, it is important for students to clearly write down their email addresses on the application form.
Visa
All students should receive an appropriate visa
in advance and you should contact
your local Korean Embassy or Consulate
immediately after the notification of
acceptance to meet visa requirements and its
processing schedule. If you hold the
nationality of a country where Korea has
signed a visa waiver agreement, you may be
allowed to enter Korea without a visa.
Health Insurance
In accordance with Korean regulation
governing international students,
participants enrolling in SISP must present
proof of adequate medical insurance
valid in Korea. Copies of health insurance
must be submitted before the start of the
program by fax or email.
Medical Examination Form
Students who wish to stay in the Gonzaga
Dormitory during the duration of the program
must submit the Medical Examination Form
prior to arrival by fax or email.
It should be filled out by a doctor.
