Q. Do I have to apply for a visa?
If you are from one of OECD member states, you do not need to apply for visa for a short term stay of less than 90 days. Instead, those who are exempt from visa requirement must apply for K-ETA.
You can check if your country is eligible for visa exemption on the website below.

Q. What type of visa do I have to apply for?
Students must visit the nearest Korean Embassy or Consulate to obtain a D-2-8 Short-term Student Visa.
Q. Can I stay a bit longer than the date my visa says?
Typically, there is a grace period for the D2 Visa holders. You may leave a few days after the visa expires. During this period, departure from Korea is still permitted without issue.
However, if you plan to stay beyond that period, we strongly recommend consulting the Korean Immigration Office directly, as universities do not have authority provide or process visa-related changes.
